If anyone has used gelaskins what are your thoughts?  I normally use decal girl but have really fallen in love with a couple of designs so am considering trying gelaskins.  Are the colors as vivid as they appear?  just curious

Haven't used gelaskins but I think the designs will appear vivid.

I have a Gelaskin on my Kindle right now and LOVE it.  The quality of the skin is really good and the colors (at least for mine) are very vivid and clear.  I did find it a 'littl'e harder to apply then the Decal Girl I originally had on my Kindle.  I've also purchased and loved the Gelaskins I've gotten for my iPod Touch.

I tried one and liked the quality but not the shininess.   I wish they had a matte version.

Mine has a nice, smooth feel -- but not slick -- there's a little bit of texture to the skin; it doesn't feel like it would slip out of your hands.  I also like the shine, I've tried the matte finish skins and didn't like the look of them, to me they looked faded and washed out, very dull.

I am sold on Gelaskins.  The only time I order decalgirl skins is when Gela doesnt make for a particular device (like 1st gen apple TV).  They have a weave built into the skin that helps keep it from stretching out of shape.  Also, their adhesives seem to age better.  Their artists are top notch and no one else can compare.

But they are in Canada which means an extra wait.

Love, Love, Love my Gelaskin!  I have Bloom which is bright, vibrant and actually has way more depth than I expected.  I will probably use them exclusively as I love their designs, they have a program so you can create your own easily on their page (Decalgirl's is complicated) and the customer service is top notch.
