Kindle cover birthday present.

Today was my 40th birthday and among my presents I received a black leather Amazon Kindle cover.  I really like it, it looks very smart and elegant and it will protect my wonderful kindle

I had been happy with my Kindle naked but as soon as I put the cover on I knew that it would be staying on and I was pleased to have one.  Has anyone else been won over by an accessory that they've received for their kindle that they didn't realise they'd want?

Interesting question about accessories you didn't know you wanted or would like. 
When I got my Kindle, I knew I would get a cover and I wanted a cover that opened so I could read my Kindle like a book. 
I saw all the chatter on the board about skins and decided it would be fun to try a skin.  I was thinking I could change it out once in a while and if I didn't like it, I wasn't wasting a lot of money. 

I chose the Van Gogh Blossoming Tree or whatever it is called and I still can't believe how much I LOVE it.  I have purchased all my subsequent covers to match that skin and every time I look at it, I marvel at how gorgeous it is. 

Who knew?
