It is going to be over a month before the new Touch is released but I am still shopping for the cover, decal, light etc I want for it! I think I am a little to excited!

A friend of mine just got his $79 Kindle on Saturday - and I'm a little jealous! So right now, I'm busy just trying to think up an excuse for buying a new one for myself!  |

Oh, I ordered one for myself and told my husband he is getting it for me for Christmas. Once the Oberon covers are up, I will order one for me and call my son to let him know he is getting it for my Christmas present.  |

I used the "Oh, yes Dear, I ordered my Christmas present from you today" explaination also. Hubby was happy as I am hard to buy for. Or so he says. I say what is so hard about getting Amazon Gift cards so I can buy more books?
Someone could also use the longer battery life, more storage, new x-ray feature or need a 2nd so I can share books with _______.

After pre-ordering the Fire and Touch, I wasn't even considering the $79 model.....until that thread. It arrives today. And kisala9906 I think it's great you're so excited; outfitting our Kindles is a lot of fun; have you decided on anything yet? |

I'm getting a Fire for my birthday which is just days after the release. I think I have a cover (or 2) that will work initially so I will have time to see if there is something I like better as more are released. If the Fire fits into some of the K3/KK covers I am set. I have a list started of Decalgirl skins that I like and that will look nice if the Fire is being viewed horizontally or vertically.  It will fit on the CoylChushions so I am good to go there. So basically my first accessory will be a skin while I wait to see what cover options are available. |

I am so excited to accessorize my Fire, but I can't decide what makes most sense yet so I'm trying to convince myself to hold off & that it'll only take two days for my accessory to get here once I see some accessory reviews. In the meantime, I'm transferring my accessorizing to my K3 When I got it last year I just bought a case and never thought about it again... now I wonder how I didn't fall into this trap earlier! |

I can help you out with this, since I have a great excuse and no one to use it on: "I need a Kindle to keep by the bed so it's always ready to read and I don't have to carry the other Kindle back and forth from the living room. If I only have one Kindle, it's always in the other place from where I want to read!" And yes, I'm currently contemplating which covers and skins to get for my $79 Kindle (bedroom) and Kindle Touch (everywhere else.) Although one of them will get the purple Amazon lighted case, the other is undecided. |
