Synthetic Leather Folio Cover for Kindle 4 [$12 Shipped]

Hey everyone! I've been looking around for Kindle covers since I recently purchased a Kindle 4 for reading (after struggling with an iPad for a bit too long). The Kindle is great! I haven't used the other Kindles that came out in the past, but this one is so small, I feel like I could slip it in my pocket. I'm sure a lot of you already know this though I've been lurking here since I received my Kindle for tips and trick that I may have missed (found the experimental browser because of kindle boards). Anyways, I was looking at covers for my Kindle on Amazon and I came across this a couple days ago CIMO Kindle 4 Leather Folio Cover It didn't have any reviews but for the price, I had to try it. I feel like I could snap my Kindle in two (but it is very solid). The case arrived this morning (came in 3 days, 2 business),  and I've been trying it out for the day. I have to say it's quite something for 10 dollars. Although I don't have much experience with other, more expensive cases, I think this one will suit me well for a while. Smooth on the outside, can put small notes on the inside. Although I was worred about the straps holding, the Kindle isn't going anywhere soon!

That's a nice looking cover.   The leather alternative folks might be interested in this one.  (You should update the title so that they might check into this cover too.)

I agree it looks pretty good. What should i make the title? The description says: Crafted from animal-friendly synthetic leather, molded to realistically leather

I think you could just add "Synthetic" before "Leather" in the title of this thread. That way people looking for this kind of case will be more apt to check this thread.

Seriously though, I'm debating on two (especially with the 10% off special offer). I want to get my twins each a K4 for Christmas, and although they definitely need cases, I don't want to spend a fortune on them either.

I was looking at this case today and am curious how much weight it adds to the kindle?  Is it noticeably heavier?  One of the reasons I got the K4 mini was that it was so much lighter than my nook w/ case.

It's much lighter than the kindle, of course. it weighed in at around 115 grams, which is 4 ounces. so it's a quarter of the weight of the kindle!
