I was just checking out my "Manage your Kindle" page, and I noticed there are a bunch of dictionaries in various languages sitting in my archive.  I believe these were added when we added my husband's new K4 to my account a couple of weeks ago.  It looks like I can just delete them (by selecting actions/delete from library on the Manage you Kindle page).... will there be any adverse side effects if I do that?  I don't want all the extra dictionaries that we'll never use cluttering up the archives, but I want to make sure it's "safe" to delete them like that.

If you're worried, you could send them to your Kindle, hook it up to your computer and copy them off for safekeeping.  Otherwise, if you don't want them, I don't see any reason not to delete them.  Off to see what's in my archives...although with 800+ books, they're hardly what is cluttering up my archives.  Grin

Your husband might want them, too.  What's the harm in keeping them?

Well, I would of course double check with my husband before I deleted them.   Smiley  I wouldn't delete anything he still wanted.  But, you're right, there is no harm in keeping them.  It just seemed like they were "cluttering" up my archive, since right now, they are pretty much filling up the entire first page on the Manage your Kindle page.  (It looks like it's actually both dictionaries and the Kindle User's guide in a bunch of languages).
