Hey, just bought a Kindle Offical Case with light. one of these, and the kindle doesn't sit flat in it - see photo here:

Its like the gold prongs have bent outwards, and so it hangs at a 20 degree angle.

Is this normal, or should I sent the case back?

Bless,
Chris

Wow! This is definitely not normal and you should send the case back! The Kindle should be flush with the cover.

I agree, something is defnitely not right there.  You need to send that back!  This is a picture of my K3 inside the lighted case.  It's closed, but you can see that it's all flat.

Eek! That picture made me cringe. Send it back! Definitely not right. Mine is also perfectly flat. Once you get a proper one you'll love it though.

It's very hard to tell from your picture what the problem is.  Is this a K3 or K4?  Looks like you need to turn it a certain way to make it flat before you set out to return it.

K4 don't have connection spots on the side.

As Chris hasn't been back online since posting, I'm hoping the issue is resolved by now....
