Hi All,

I'm not into name brands and such unless we're talking about my Coach purse.  Cheesy  After getting my Kindle a few weeks ago I quickly realized it needed a cover for several reasons--- protection and to make it easier to hold. I checked out the covers on Amazon and was not impressed with how expensive they were, so off to eBay I went. I found this great faux leather cover for about $22 including shipping. It's perfect. I've had it for about 2 weeks now and I haven't had a single problem with it. It holds my Kindle tightly so that I can lie or sit in any position with comfort and ease. Perfect design and it looks nice too.

Here's the link for the one I bought if anyone is interested.

Looks interesting and that's an excellent price!  Do you happen to have access to a scale?  We try to keep track of the weights on these.

Hmmmm, what kind of scale would I need to weigh it?

A kitchen scale has small enough increments.

OK... I had a friend take it and weigh it today. She said it weighed in at just a bit over 1.26 ounces. She has a kitchen scale.

I had no clue ya'll kept track of weight on here but it makes sense. No one wants a heavy bulky cover that's for sure. This cover is extremely light but it's sturdy as well.

I have this same case and I love it! I've had the case for almost a month now and can't imagine what my K2 would look like by now if I didn't have the case. I got it for a discounted price on eBay for $12.00 with free shipping. So if I didn't like it, no sweat. It only cost 12 bucks!

I'm glad I looked through here, because it gave me the idea of looking @ ebay!

I'm saving for my first Oberon cover, but know I can't afford to get it until probably the end of Sept or first of October, but I want something to protect my Kindle for a trip I have coming up on Labor Day weekend. I found the same one you got for $16 total, can't beat that! As long as it lasts me 2 or 3 months it will have paid for itself and then some. Thanks!

Okay, I've found 3 inexpensive leather(ish) cases on ebay for the K2.  Need a bit of help picking one out of the bunch.
