Any way to start at the cover?

I just got a $79 kindle a couple months ago, and find it very annoying that the books don't start at the beginning but start at the first paragraph.  You have to go all the way back to view the cover, and sometimes skip back to go to the prologue.  Is there any way to make it open at the cover by default?  Thanks

I don't think so but you can go to the cover this way;

Menu > Go to... > Cover

( on my DX at least)

The default is for the book to start at the beginning the first time you open it. Authors have the option of changing from the default to, for example, the cover or table of contents.

Of course, after the first time you open a newly acquired book, on subsequent openings Kindle remembers where you left off and opens on that page, which is very cool.

So far as I can tell, Amazon software looks for the first H1 heading (chapter heading) and goes there.  I agree, it would be nice to open at the cover.  It is a pain, no matter what, when there is a HUGE TOC to page through, whether you're going up or down.
