Does anyone have any tips on applying a skin to the K-Fire?   With the K-3 I had the keys to help line it up but haven't found a good way to put one on the Fire.   It is even hard to see the little dot under the glass.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.  I thought skinning the Fire would be so easy but so far it hasn't been.   Fortunately it is easy to reposition.

It took me a little maneuvering to get it on straight.  Patience is your best friend.   I lined up one of the shorter ends and corners first and slowly made my way down the sides.  I placed it as lightly as possible before pressing it firmly in place.  Make sure you have it cleaned well and in a fairly dust free area.  It was tough for me because of the dog hair but I was lucky and only had to fight once with a loose hair.

Marie, I'm so glad you asked this question, I just ordered my first skin for my Fire, and I've already wondered about applying it.  The whole front is just smooth, you know on the Kindles you have the little lip all around the screen.  I'm thinking I'll need plenty of light when applying this one!

The hard part (for me, at least) is lining up the little hole in the upper left corner.
