At one time, the Target near me had most of the ready-made New Yorker covers in stock so I got to see them in person.  They are beautiful, very colorful.  I didn't get one because I didn't think any of them went well with the skin I have, which I love.

The New Yorker covers are just like the Go covers.  I personally love M-Edge covers and several of them including a few of the Go style.  I like them because they are slim and lightweight.  While I like a cover with a closure if I am traveling, for everyday use I find a closure is not necessary.  The e-luminator light fits into them as well, which I think makes the best lighted cover for Kindle.

M-Edge periodically sends out coupons and special offers, so you may want to watch for one of those if you are on the fence.  But I think you would be happy with the cover.

I don't have the current version, but I've had them in the past and never felt the need for a closure. The Go jacket style seems to stay closed very well without one. The covers themselves are very nice, I'm not a fan of the current designs but if they ever brought the bookseller cover back I'd grab it without thinking twice.

I have one, the "Sunday in Central Park" design and couldn't be happier with it. The cover is fabric and it doesn't feel to be coated; very nice to touch. I don't have any problem with it having no closure. It fits in my purse when I leave the house, and I don't worry about it. I guess all the other junk I lug around keeps it closed.

I bought it for my K3, but it's currently housing my Fire...no problems with the fit at all.
