Fire skins - glossy or matte

I tired one glossy skin on my K3/KK and preferred matte with that.  BUT I bought matte ones for my Fire and wondering if glossy might be better with that.   The skins I've tried are ones I liked on my KK but not on the Fire so maybe it is more the finish that I need to change.

Has anyone else felt this way or have any thoughts on matte vs glossy with the glossy screen of the Fire?

I'm not going to skin my Fire.  I actually didn't skin my K3 or K4 either. . thought the dark casing looked fine as it was.  And with the fire, the skin would only really go on the back and if it's in a case -- which it will be -- I just don't see the point for me.   But, aesthetically, since the Fire has a glossy screen, I feel like a glossy skin would go better.

With a very plain cover I want something to dress up my k-Fire.  I like how the skins personalize my device but I think you are right that the glossy would look better.   Good thing there is another sale.  Although I could just get a different more colorful cover and that might be cheaper in the long run.

Here's an opposing viewpoint: I've had matte finish skins on both my iPad and iPhone for over a year, and I don't regret it. Those glossy screens collect fingerprints like mad...so do glossy skins, which is why I switched away from those in the first place. The matte finish means there's a kind of "soft" look and feel to the bezel of the device, a little more grip (I use mine coverless), NO glare, and no fingerprints.

Even against a glossy screen, I still prefer the matte look.
