I think I am now convinced that there are strengths in both, that, unlimited 3G web browsing aside, will probably be resolved in the "Kindle Touch 5".  But I won't be waiting for that one. 

So here goes nothing.  I've got the Touch wifi and the K Keyboard and have until Jan 7 to return either to Target.  But for $165 for the pair, I'll probably keep both to have the strengths of both.   Now which to open first...
