So, I was just curious as to how many Kindles you PERSONALLY own. So, that means don't count your family's total, but how many you actually have. I'm looking into buying another Kindle for portability. I don't usually carry a bag/purse with me, and when I do, it's extremely small, as I only need to carry the necessities, which is where I would love to include a Kindle as well! It probably won't be for awhile, since I'm already spending money to buy a K4 + accessories for my brother this Christmas. I normally wouldn't get two of the same type of device, but I'm possibly willing to make an exception here. So, how many do you have, which ones do you have, and why do you have that amount?

Two, a K3 3G and a K4.
I bought the K4 because I liked the small size for travel, and I bought the K3 out of cussedness when I learned Amazon stopped including web browsing over 3G in the Touch. I've actually used it when visiting relatives who don't have wifi, and hopefully will get good use of it for email when I next go overseas.

I just have one right now, the K3.
The K3 is perfect for me, so when I realized that, I gave my K2 to the man in my life. I also loaned him my DXG on a long term basis (as in, he can keep it as long as he is still the man in my life but otherwise, I want it back! LOL).

I'm debating if I want to get a K4 because of the size, but I also wonder about the 3G. I love my KDX has 3G and can download content from basically anywhere because it has proven useful when I don't have WiFi. These decisions are always so tough!

Just my K3 Wifi. Passed my K1 on to my girlfriend and my K2 on to my parents.
I do use the Kindle app on my iPad 2 and iPhone 4s regularly though.

Two--a K2 I keep for sentimental value, and a Touch. Also the Kindle app on the iPhone and iPad, both of which I've done a surprising amount of reading on in the last year.
I wish I could bring myself to part with the K2, but so far, I just can't seem to.

I gave my K2 to my eldest son, and got myself a Touch and a Fire. I still prefer reading kn the Touch, but I love the Fire for so many other things!

I have two - a DX which I use in the house and a K3 which I carry around with me when I go out.
The Baby Kindle probably wouldn't work for me as my 'out and about' Kindle as there aren't many places I go to - work included - that have wi-fi, so my K3 3G is just perfect for me for that and the DX is a lovely large screen that I can use at home where I don't have to carry it around a lot.

I have 2, a Kindle 3 and about 2 weeks ago I bought a Touch from Target. I plan on keeping both as I now use my K3 to download samples (sort of my wish list device) and use my KT as my main reader. I also have the Kindle app on my Iphone and Ipad which I use when I am out until I can get a case for my KT.

I have two also. A Touch 3G and a DX. Needless to say the KT is getting a lot of read time right now.

I have a KK, a K3 WiFi/3G and a KindleFire. I keep the KK for sentimental reasons/backup and the K3 is my reader with the Fire being everything else. I also have Kindle for PC on my netbook and my Droid phone. I didn't include these last two in the survey because they're not actually Kindle devices. Even though the netbook has access to all my books I use it for cookbooks and instructional books, it's easier to read them there. Can't have too many you know. Lol

I have one. I usually sell or give away my previous Kindle when I get a new one. I think an interesting question would be how many have you bought.

I have 3. K1, K3 and a Fire. I wanted to give the K1 to my hubby, who reads rarely, but he prefers his ipad for the sporadic read. So the K1 is still mine. I'll keep it along with its crazy cool box. . I use it sometimes when its upstairs and the K3 is downstairs and I am too lazy. My Fire I don't use much for reading just a few times in bed a few pages. Back when I got my K1, Kindles cost $359, and that wasn't even the highest price they had. So now with the lowest costing only $79, I think its perfectly fine to have a couple to carry around if that fits in your lifestyle. You could buy 2 fires now with what first adopters paid for the K1 when it came out. I am thinking of a touch, but my K3 still works fine and nobody else here reads so it would just lay around. So I assume at some point soon, I'll have 4 Kindles.

It breaks my heart, but I guess that's why I haven't gotten a new one since. I've been debating between getting the Fire and K4. I wanted to get the Fire because I want to get magazine subscriptions, since I no longer have a permanent address. But I also wanted to have something small to carry around, which is where the K4 comes in. I've been debating this for a long time. I also like the Fire because it's also a tablet, so I can use the internet. Nevertheless, I need to save my money for either of them. Perhaps, this time will help me decide.
