The SBX coffee could not lure me as I love my Keurig. The Grande Caramel Frappachino was wonderful. It is more expensive than the Sonic Java Chiller though and the Chiller is just as good as the SBX.

Personal preference, of course, but I like the taste and temperature of my Starbucks Americano better than the comparable offerings from McDonald's, Peet's, Tim Horton's. Even though I have a Canadian affinity and a natural loyalty to Tim Horton's.
Haven't been to Dunkin Donuts in a long time - I noticed there were a lot of them in Rhode Island on my trip this week. Will have to try those out next time I'm near one.

DD started in Massachusetts and the corporate headquarters is in Canton, MA. Not too surprising they are on every corner here in the northeast. LOL. I just looked up info about DD...they are in 34 states in the US and 31 other countries. That makes 16 DD-less states. I wonder what they are? I am guessing Alaska and Hawaii, to start. Others? L |

Today was the first time I was in Starbucks and had their coffee. I like Donkin Donuts better. What are the odds that the only other kindler had a standard white poodle? We had a very nice time, I had assume that more people would have showed up as I know of 4 other kindles owners who live in Nassau County.
Neil Shapiro was other Kindle person there and he is a member here put never posted I told him look us up.

I can guess why!  My Kindle and Koffee experience was pretty quiet other than one demo to a non-Kindler, but I did enjoy the cafe mocha and a breakfast sandwich. None of the pastries offered had enough chocolate involved to spend the calories. |

I don't think there is a Dunkin Donuts in the St. Louis area....My daughter lives there and complains about that ...personally I don't drink coffee and their donuts are terrible!

As far as donuts go, I had a very good friend who had his own small donut shop and made fresh donuts every morning. That place was heaven. Anyway, after his divorce it was just too hard to keep it up on his own and he had to give it up. But, he kept his equipment and has built a place with a future donut shop in mind. I can't wait.

I went to the Starbucks in Mission Viejo, California. There were 2 other Kindle board members there. Photos in the photo section.
Darn...would have showed up but didn't see that anyone was meeting up in the OC.  |

By Timmy's, do you mean Tim Horton's? We have those here in Maine. They are very nice...I like them. They actually serve the coffee in real ceramic cups, not paper. How civilized!

I live in St. Louis, and yep, there's no Dunkin' Donuts around here. I've never had it, but people really seem to like it. I was a cashier at a retail store for 2 years, and people always buy the Dunkin' Donuts coffee. I never got it because it was almost $6 a bag. But it must taste pretty good. I hardly go to Starbucks anymore - it drains my money when I could have better spent the $4 for something else. I still love it though, when I do go. I never get coffee anywhere else. Though, there quite a few small coffee places. I guess you could call them coffeehouses, but they aren't that quaint to be called that. I live in the 'burbs, but there are only a few Starbucks that I ever go to. I thought about going to the Starbucks closest to my house, but I had work. I wanted to know if there were any Kindlers in my area. |

How I never manage to get to a Tim Horton's during my visits to Canada baffles me; they're all over the place. Perhaps its because they're usually packed to capacity with rowdy hockey players?  Definitely next visit. As for Starbuck's, I don't blame the Bucky bashers here, since the brew quality is so staff dependent. I buy three-pound bags of whole bean Starbuck's French Roast at Sam's Club, keep it in the fridge, then grind and drink it as needed, the way I used to do with Peet's. It really makes my day, or at least the first hours of it. Coffee and Kindle ... perfect pairing. CK |

I like Starbucks but you are right it depends on who makes your coffee drink. I need to go up to starbucks to buy more coffee to bring home. I like to grind my own coffee.
