i have had my kindle for nearly a year now and love it but my only critticism is that you dont get a picture of the book covers i know that you should not judge a book by its covers but i do love them perhaps kindle will do that one day

When you are in the book, you can select "Go to cover", and you will see the cover.

What Tina means, though, is that some books don't have any cover when you Go To-> Cover, or the cover is a simple one, not the nice fancy one that you see on the product page. I've noticed this with "Visit From the Goon Squad", for instance.

There's no easy solution, but you can fix it using software called Calibre, if you want.

I wish the big publishers would clue in on this.

I hope this isn't a hot button issue around here, but I'm really hoping Rowling takes eBooks to another level when she releases HP. We all know what a stickler (to put it nicely) she is about her books so I'm hoping she sets the bar for exact replications of print books in electronic format. I hate downloading books only to find out their "cover" is some boilerplate clipart with the title printed over it.

I really hate this too! I really hate it when I'm looking through my books on my iPad trying to chose what to read next!
