My concern would be less about whether print is profitable enough to justify a print version and more about whether the version you would be printing (after you'd re-worked it) would be so different to the ebook that is also on sale that it might cause you problems. Say, someone reads one or the other and loves it - so decides to get a copy in the other format too, or recommends it to their friend who buys it but then when they go to talk about it, one person is talking about a scene that doesn't happen in the book the other person read.
Personally, if you're looking to re-work it rather than just produce a print version, then I'd hold fire until you have the ebook rights back and concentrate on something else in the meantime. Maybe a different story using the new elements that you'd like to add in to this one? Georgette Heyer has a couple of stories that are similar but not the same and the events of The Black Moth are pretty much the backstory for These Old Shades, only the characters' names are different. You might be able to change it enough to make a completely new story that has everything you love about this one but is original enough for you to use both ebook and print rights.
