Profile image: What am I doing wrong?

I changed my profile shot to my book cover. The book is not up for sale yet, but should be by the end of the month, so I haven't created an Amazon linked signature yet. The actual image has the proper proportion, but it comes off stretched and weird here. I see plenty of others with properly proportioned profile shots of their books. Any advice? Just drink more coffee?

Clear your browser cache and reload the page?

In your code for the image you have set both the width and the height, 140 wide, 160 high.   This
forces the image to be displayed in that aspect ratio, which doesn't match the aspect ratio of the
actual image of 152 wide and 227 high.
