I ordered my cover for the Kindle Touch when I ordered the Touch. Why is taking so much longer to ship? Is this how it was for everyone? Just got my Kindle yesterday and would really like to get it protected. I thought maybe if I changed my shipping preference that would speed it up but it just upped by a day. It should deliver between 12/19 - 12/20 which is next week, but that is just an estimate. Huh

It was worse two weeks ago. Then, estimates were for the end of the year. The last few days, it's been showing six to ten days for most colors. They're finally catching up.

Currently reading...no idea.  Trying to decide from the overflowing TBR "pile" and not making any headway!

Ok. That makes me feel better. I was worried that they were running out and they would push the date later.

I think it'll be OK. I've been watching them mostly out of curiosity, but the wait is definitely improved.

Meanwhile, if you have an Octovo Solis for the K2 or K3 at home, either will fit the uncased Touch. (The K3 version takes a bit of a push, but I've been using it for more than a week now and love it.) The Kandle also works if you have one lying around.

I included my covers when I sold my Kindle, so know backups. I could go buy the regular cover at Target, but don't want to waste the money for just a few days. I just feel more comfortable with it in a case.

I can confirm the lead times are shortening. I ordered a lighted case in wine and was originally told I would get it between Dec. 28th to Jan 5th. Yesterday they said they now estimated delivery on Dec. 18th and today I got the 'your order has been shipped' notice.

Glad you are getting yours soon. I'm surprised that they had such a delay in covers. I'll be happy to see shipped on my order.

My cover came the day before Thanksgiving. It was defected. My replacement has been shipped, so I am getting it a week to 2 weeks earlier than planned.

My cover finally shipped. It will be here Monday. I'll so glad to get it. I've been afraid of damaging my Kindle without a cover.

I got the cover today and I'm really pleased with the color. It looked like a dark wine color on my laptop but it is really pretty purple. I actually like the feel of the cover and love the way it snaps in instead of hinges. I was worried that it didn't have the elastic band but it seems to stay closed without a problem. I had no issues with the light. It is each to pull out and covers the screen well. Overall I'm happy I chose this cover. I'm sure I will still get an Oberon after Christmas but I don't know which one yet.  Smiley
