It is awesome, intuitive to use, and works perfectly right out of the box.  The only quibble I have is that I am reading a Jen Lancaster memoir and she uses a lot of footnotes.  Occasionally it takes a couple tries of pressing in the right place/pressure to bring up the footnote instead of the next page or the dictionary. (or the menu/previous page depending on what part of the screen the footnote is on.)

I have the keyboard one--and I was pretty much against the touch until I tried my neighbors Fire.  Those are some slick devices.  Nice screens too.  I could work the touch-screens.  I'm happy with what I have, but I'm no longer dead-set against the touch models!

Merry Christmas!

The only thing that bugs me about the touchscreen on our Fire is the fingerprints. lol. My kids gave me a set of styluses for Christmas. They work great Smiley

Yeah. The eInk displays are awesome, but the more complicated the document in terms of formatting and footnotes and illustrations and so forth, the trickier the eInk displays are to use.

I agree that the fingerprints on the screen can be bit annoying.   I keep one of those cloths that you usr to clean eyeglasses nearby.
