Hi,
in order to increase the readability of PDF (and make the font size bigger without converting them to .mobi and hence lose the formatting that is important for some technical books), I've found a couple of useful tools that "crop" the pdf removing white margins. I've tried Briss and Skim (for Mac).

Previewing them on my Mac, they look as expected, but when imported in my Kindle Touch, it seems like the Kindle adds (back) the removed margins). Do you know how to prevent this behaviour or any other way to increase PDF readability?

Thanks.

It seems to me that tools like Briss, if you remove margins, would have to save the edited copy in a new file.  Did you move that file to the Kindle, or the original?

It also renames it like <MY_BOOK_NAME>_cropped.pdf, so I'm sure I'm trying to read the cropped version Smiley
