Kindle battery problem

I have kindle 4 since 18 december. At first I use it, I exhausted the battery and I charged until the color of lamp goes green . I read 1 hour and let the kindle in sleep mode . At the morning the battery indicator was at half . I read again 1-2 hours and i should charge again the battery . I  made this circles 4 times . I think it's really strange to charge the battery 3-4 times in a week .

wi-fi is off!!! I didn't use cover !!! I have only 4 books, and the indexing is over ! ! !

I think that i have bad battery . What can I do now ?

ps 1 friend of mine bought me this kindle when he was at UK and now we are at Bulgaria ... :X

really sorry for bad english, but this is my second time that I write something in english

And your English is fine. 

It does sound like you have a bad battery.  My K4 (this is the Mini one, no keyboard, right?) battery lasts about a week with WiFi on.
