Anyone going free today? If so - make sure you add "kindle freebie" to the Amazon.com tags for your book and I will give it a mention on my facebook and twitter accounts (I'll almost certainly pick up for the blog either way).

Cry for the Moon, first book in The Last Werewolf Hunter series, will be free today and tomorrow, December 31 and January 1. It's young adult fantasy with a Christian flavor (but not preachy), it has 22 five-star reviews and 9 more 4 stars and a couple of award nominations.

Folks, we've talked it over in the smoke-filled Admin cave, and this thread is strictly promotional, so we're going to move it to the Book Bazaar and add a link to it in our Threadipedia in the Bazaar. We do think this is a service to our membership, so thanks.
Authors, we'll ask that you only post about your book once per free run and that you wait seven days between back to back posts, just as with your book threads. This thread should not be considered a second book thread, thanks.
Readers, be aware that most books' "free-ness" comes and goes, so be sure to check the price on the "Buy" button to be sure it is still free when you check. Also, Prime Lending books show as 0.00 below the main price, please go by the price on the "Buy" button in making your purchase decisions.
If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask.
We'll periodically repost this message in the thread so that new folks see it.

Grab a copy of Two Shorts (High Fidelity & Christmas Oratorio) and save it for reading on your phone in otherwise wasted moments. It's two snippets from my memoirs, one a little Christmas horror that those into hi-fi music will understand, the other a humorous piece about village life. $FREE Thanks for the thread!

Thank you, Betsy, for creating and locating this thread in the Book Bazaar. With regard to the "once per seven days," does that preclude a more frequent insertion for a different book. For instance, Bears in the Woods (fictional title) free for the next two days, then Lions Eat Bears, goes free four days later. Can Lions be posted or is it required to have only ONE free book listed here in each seven day period?
GR

Gordon, thanks for asking. You may have a free book post for each book. However, you may not have back to back posts within seven days. So, if when Lions Eat Bears goes free, four days after Bears in the Woods, if yours is the last post in the thread (unlikely), you should modify your most recent post rather than post anew. If yours is still the last post after seven days and you have a new new book coming free or a new free run for a book, you may make a new post. Betsy

Thanks, Betsy. It's the back-to-back issue that required clarification for me. As you say, after four days, not much chance of someone else not having posted.
Cheers from earthquake central, Christchurch, New Zealand. Fifteen months since our first BIG one, more than 8,000 since (with a few dozen over 5.xx) and counting. Only six overnight, including a 5.5 and 5.1. We really know how to shake things up down here.

A short story titled "Chance Encounter" is set in the same world as my novel and is free until the end of the day 1/4. Urban fantasy with bite!

Folks who have a blog or something to aggregate free book announcements should not post here -- this is for KB author members to list their books. But feel free to request information in the Cafe.
