Adding board-specific RSS feeds to your news aggregator

Some of you like to follow the board updates using RSS news aggregators, like Google Reader. You can limit this to specific sub-boards.

For example, you can use this URL to add the RSS feed for Writer's Cafe to your news aggregator:
http://www.kindleboards.com/index.php?board=60.0;type=rss;action=.xml;limit=20

If you want to follow other boards, you can change the "60" to the board number for other boards. The board number appears in the URL when you go the main page for a particular board.

Hmmmm.  Playing with this.  I suspect you would have to add the board number for each board you're interested in (there are probably fewer than you want--you don't want the feed for "Buy Sell Trade & Barter" do you?)  I was thinking this might work?  I bumped the limit up...haven't tried it in a Reader though, and this stuff is all trial and error for me.  You're better with this stuff than I am, Jeff!

Thank, Betsy. I though that perhaps Harvey had already figured it out. I'll give it a try later and see if I can find a way to eliminate specific boards.

To answer your question, the feeds for unpopular boards, like "Buy Sell Trade & Barter", aren't really a problem, but the Writer's Cafe generates a steady stream of posts that floods the stream and makes it useless to me.

Of course I know nothing about this, but it seems like there should be a code one can include that indicates "not".
