When I first got my KT, I had a few issues with page turning but figured it was just the learning curve for getting used to the sensitivity of the device.

Lately, it's just been acting up more and more. It lags constantly and randomly restarts almost daily. I tried a hard reset but it didn't seem to help. I don't have anything indexing and I only keep my KT in a sleeve. It hasn't had any falls or any other damage.

Anyone else had these types of issues that were able to be resolved without Kindle CS intervention? Is there anything I should do besides call CS at this point?

You've tried the things we'd suggest:  a restart via the software or hardware.

Contact KINDLE customer service. . . .via the kindle support page at Amazon. . .also, phone numbers are in a post pinned to the top of this board.  That behavior doesn't sound right.  I expect they'll send a replacement out right away with a return shipping label so you can send back the defective one.  Though they may have some other tricks you can try first. . . .

I just got off the phone with them a little while ago. The Kindle CS transferred me to a "specialist" who just had me do a factory reset. Because my Kindle was at about 75% charged, he suggested I turn it off, plug it in and let it get up to a full charge before using it again (as normal). He said if I still had problems, to let them know and their engineers could look into it more. He said he couldn't see anything wrong with my Kindle on his end. I hope he's right. We'll see how it goes! Last night my KT was so whacky it restarted three times in about five minutes and I ended up reading on my iPod touch.
