Please help, I have kindle on my mac, iphone and Ipad, and I need to have personal documents and manuscripts appear on my kindle. I will need to highlight edit.

I have looked at the directions and it says to email them to my device name @kindle, which has no results. In addition, if PDF< they are large docs, and not always easy to email.

Please anyone, how do I transfer large personal manuscripts on my Kindle Archive.Huh?

It's device_name@kindle.com.  The correct email address for your Kindle will be listed on your Manage Your Kindle page, under the "Manage Your Devices" menu item on the left.

Also, you have to allow which email addresses can send emails to your Kindle, which is under the "Personal Documents Settings" subitem under "Manage Your Kindle".

Welcome horanel!

Susan has given you the basics.

Additionally, be aware that very large files may not be properly delivered.  Those you'd have to sideload yourself by physically connecting the kindle to the computer via the USB cord.  If not in a device readable format, you'll first have to convert them. . . . .there are various free 3rd party solutions available for that.  Calibre is quite popular around here.  I've gotten decent results with Mobipocket Creator, though I don't believe it's available for Mac.

Note that if the device is delivered via 3G, you may incur a small charge. . .you don't say what type of Kindle you have.  If it has 3G, you should probably use the @free.kindle.com address -- which is exactly the same except for the inclusion of the word "free" -- to ensure it's delivered via WiFi

Also, note that PDF's will not be converted to Kindle format unless you put the word "convert" in the title.  If you want to be able to highlight, I believe you need to have it in kindle format.  But conversion will remove any specialized formatting.  If you leave it in PDF format, and it's formatted for a standard size sheet of paper, it will be 'shrunk to fit' the Kindle's 6" diagonal screen so the print may be quite small.
