I bought my mom a kindle for Christmas, she is in her late seventies and has never used a PC so I loaded it with books before I sent it to her. Her problem is she will be reading a book and she will come to a page that ask a set of questions, she says she can not by pass that page and move on from them. Can someone please tell me what that's about. I have read about 100 books on my smart phone kindle and have never come across these questions. Any help would be greatly appreciated. By the way I am in North Carolina, and she is in Maine so I can not go there and help her.

No clue.

Have her read the questions to you.  She may be pushing the menu button.

Quite often the 'back' button will get you out of a quandary.  I agree with Elaine that you need to find out what those questions are.

Are you sure she is not reading a sample?  At the end of a sample it has a set of links; something along the lines of "buy this book" and "Go to book description."

I can't remember ever being confronted with questions on a page! I would try the back button as was suggested or call customer service if you can't figure it out.

Can you tell us what book she's reading?  She might want to check her "Location" -- and then see if she can select "Go To" and "Location" from the Kindle's menu. In theory, she could input a different location number that will take her forward to the book's next pages.

Anyways, hopefully you'll find an answer soon. When you have a Kindle, you're also part of the community of Kindle owners - and that can be a wonderful and powerful thing!
