First, please let me make clear, I am NOT asking about "Audible" format books. The specific example my wife asked me about was:

http://www.amazon.com/Speak-Business-English-Like-American/dp/0972530061/ref=tmm_pap_title_0

That lists a Kindle version, and she asked, "So, how do you get the audio content from the CD?"

Are there simply portions one would choose to have read by "Text-To-Speech"? (which, honestly, I've never used, and don't know how well it works)

Is there a separate file, such as MP3, which you can refer to?

Is the supplementary audio content simply not provided?

Other that I haven't considered?

Thanks,

Brian

I have the above book, which of course claims audio content.  In the book's Table of Contents, it lists an Appendix for "audio material".  If you click on the link it tells you that "the following audio can be heard by visiting (gives a website URL).  Following that, it lists a variety of audio clips and provides a link to the page in the book where each audio clip is discussed.

It's possible your book does something similar, but obviously I can't guarantee that's the case!

You might try a sample from the book and see if that's enlightening.  If all else fails, Amazon has a generous return policy if you buy the book and are unhappy with how the audio material is handled.
