Thanks, everyone :-)  I'm officially home, and I feel a lot better.  The last thing is they're worried about lupus (about to hit wiki) and my husband thinks I'm going to die and / or have brain damage, but other than that...  well, and tomorrow I've got to go cancel my classes, but... YAY!!!  I feel better LOL

Anyway, I really do appreciate all the support and I can't WAIT to get back to work :-)

Anne,
I'm a little late adding to the chorus, but I'm so glad you're home where you can actually rest and recover. Best wishes!

Chicken soup and chocolate welcome :-)

Update:  Will be answering emails tomorrow and trying to sort out my schedule Tuesday and Wednesday.  It's frickin' crazy to realize you've lost almost 2 months of time - I originally got sick around the 19th of Dec, so totally strange to come back to the world and it's February.  Anyway, still got a lot of doctor's stuff, but looking forward to working again :-) Bottom line, if you emailed me in the past month and half and you don't hear back from me in the next few days, feel free to send me an new email just to make sure something didn't fall through the cracks.

And - you guys are so awesome!  Your well wishes have kept a smile on my face :-)

Wait! That ice cream was for Anne? I ... I thought it was for everyone. This is really awkward.

Save me some - it's one of the few things I can eat.  Seriously, everything tastes really salty to me except yogurt and cereal.  I've actually lost 36 pounds (220 to 184).  I wouldn't recommend the pneumonia diet, though :-p

ICE CREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PS:  I had coffee today.  It was glorious ;-)

Hi, all!
I spent today answering email - over 300 of the things :-)  Some people got responded to multiple times, I know, as I worked from December 19th through current - sorry about the spam train!  If you have emailed me over the past month and a half and don't have some sort of coherent answer, please email me again.  I promise the slight was not on purpose :-)

So - that's all the news that's fit to print for now.  Again, thanks to everyone for the well wishes.  You're amazing :-)

I got the nicest email from Anne, telling me her schedule and thanking me for this thread. Funny thing, the email had ice cream stains on it, even chocolate syrup it looked like. There must have been a party down in the bayou and we didn't know about it. But I was glad to hear from her and to see she is back in the saddle. Now, if she will just treat it like a merry-go-round horse, and not a rodeo, I won't feel guilty when she reads my current submission.

How nice to have electronic friends, eh, Anne?
