I had my kindle setting on the arm of the couch yesterday. Pulled my
belt off and dropped it on the couch, the buckle managed to smack my
screen. My screen now has this on it.

I have the font set at the smallest setting to give some scale. My first kindle
had a freeze and rebbot issue and was replaced in Jan of last year. Should I
worry that this mark will get bigger or just live with it? I'll be getting my taxes
back next month and am considering using a little bit to buy a new Kindle
Keyboard as a just in case.
Any suggestions or opinions would be greatly appreciated.

I'd call Kindle customer support and tell them what happened. They might at least give you a discount on a replacement.

But yeah, it isn't going to get better. So it'll either remain the same or get worse.
