Finding Bestsellers from Kindle Itself

I can find the various Kindle bestseller lists by going to the Amazon web site.  Can I access these lists directly from my Kindle?  How do I do it? My Kindle is dead now so I've been using the Mac Version.

I have Kindle 2. It's dead right now.  Have to call Amazon.

Sorry your Kindle is dead...is the battery dead or is it broken? 

Whichever Kindle you have, you do need to have either WiFi connected or your 3G on.  Just to be sure.

On my K4 ($79), I call up the menu using the menu button, then select "Shop in Kindle Store."

The front page of the Kindle store will sho.  One of the options is "Kindle Best Sellers" and another is NY Times Best Sellers.  There is also "Books" which takes you to a listing by genre.  Clicking on one of the genres will take you to a list in that genre, sorted by bestselling.

The Kindle Touch has a shopping car in the Top Menu bar visible on the home page or in any book when invoked.  Tapping on the shopping Kart brings you to a different version of the Kindle store home page with the same options.

Thanks, Betsy.  I think the battery is dead.  My cord is frazzled and it won't re-charge. I've read of others having this same problem so I really do need to call Amazon.

Yep.  Definitely call them.  They probably won't be able to replace the K2, but they've been known to offer good discounts on a new (maybe refurbished) K3(Keyboard).  OR. . . .some folks have been successful in replacing the battery. . .there are a number of threads about it in Tips/Tricks/Troubleshooting.  And a replacement cord/charger is cheap.

I haven't found a way to change the sort criteria yet, but it would be cool if you could do that.
