Dead Kindle

I received a Kindle Christmas 2010 and have used it for the acquisition/reading of 20 or so books since then.  I have noticed that its time-on-charge seemed to be falling off of late.  As of last week, it's dead.

My assumption is that I have a battery problem, since the charger works with other units.

Is there a repair/replacement procedure or do I now have a very light weight doorstop on my hands?

There is a battery replacement option, but you should still be within warranty, and Amazon should take care care of you.  See the number above for Kindle customer service.

Kindle support are pretty good, and since your still in warrenty, im sure they will sort you out no problems. Does sound like its just a battery problem, can you turn it on while the charger is plugged into the device?

If you got it for Christmas 2010, it's probably out of warranty, but I expect Amazon will still take care of you.
