Guardian newspaper not arriving on Kindle

Apologies if this has been asked already or is in the wrong place. I subscribe to The Guardian newspaper on my KIndle. But somedays it never appears. Today's edition has turned up, but that was the first one for four days. What is happening?

Hmmm. . .that's not right.  I get the Washington Post and it definitely comes daily.

Are you leaving the wireless on?  Sometimes if it's off and then I turn it on later the paper doesn't come automatically -- especially when it was coming to my 3G only Kindle.  I'd have to do a 'sync and check'.

Can you see the back issues via Manage your Kindle?  If so, you can send them directly.

There were a couple of times when the paper was just late for whatever reason. . . .

If you never got it and there isn't even a copy of the day's issue available to you, it's probably time to reach out to Customer support. . .phone numbers are in the thread at the top of the Tips/Tricks/Troubleshooting board.

I think there used to be a lot more complaints of missed/late newspaper issues, and then Amazon instituted substantial rewards, to the media companies, for reliability. Looking at the amazon.com Guardian/Observer customer reviews, I only spotted one missing issue complaint. You'd think there would be more if they skipped days in a row. I did find a bunch of complaints about missing sections, and of course go with what Ann said.

I notice it is only available from Amazon for UK customers. Anyone know why?

Do they let you guys over there subscribe to the New York Times Latest News Blog? US$1.99 a month and I've never seen it go more than a couple hours between updates :-)
