I am British but living in France and my Kindle is registered here and I download books from Amazon.fr. We are shortly going to New Zealand for 6 months. Will I still be able to download books from there or do I have to download before I go?
Apologies if this question has been asked before. Am new to the forum and haven't had time, as yet, to read all the posts!

Yeah you wont have a problem, all Amazon accounts are linked, regardless of the TLD that you visit. All amazon accounts are the same - or they are for me at least!

I think the key, for copyright issues, is the location of your bank and the billing address of your bank card. You should be able to download books just as if you were at home. When there are Amazon rules involved such as residency requirements for the cheaper Special Offer models or the restriction on shipping the Touch outside the U.S., Amazon will consider your shipping address and possibly your ISP.
