Couple of questions

I looked in the Help section but didn't see the answers...  sorry to bother you if this is typical stuff.

why does my status say Dr. Seuss?
And why can't I upload my own photo in my profile?  I thought it might be too big so I made it small as possible and still isn't working.

Any advice would be appreciated, thanks

Dr. Suess is one of many status levels members gain as they post.  It'll change at 50 posts, I think... I'll find the thread that lists them.

It looks like you got the photo figured out.

Also, I had a post edited in the thread "What are you tired of in fantasy."  Did I cross a line asking advice re a manuscript I'm working on because it skated too close to promo?  Didn't mean to and apologize if that's the case.

Not a mod, but if I were to guess, I'd say that your post was in the book corner where self promo is not allowed. Those kind of questions are best asked in the Writers' Cafe. The only area for self promotion is the Book Bazaar .

Yes, mentioning your books in the Book Corner is a no-no.  You need to be there as a reader, not a writer.
